Birth, first steps, youth
Back in 1954, on April 9, a boy named Dennis was born in Houston to William Rudy and Juanita, an ordinary electrician and real estate worker. This did not suggest an acting future for the boy. Surprisingly, he was not the only one in the family to become an actor. His older brother Randy, who has outstanding achievements in this field, accompanied Dennis on this path.
He spent his school years and part of his university years in his hometown. While studying theater at the local University of Houston, he decided to leave the university in the middle of his studies. This ultimately did not affect the actor’s future.
Outside the hometown
One of the reasons for Dennis’s decision was his desire to move to Los Angeles and take the first steps that led him down a different path from acting. At first, the young man worked as a waiter in a local restaurant. Then the first rays of the acting path appeared when Dennis became a clown in an amusement park.
