The colorful life of Hilary Duff

It’s not often that one person can combine childlike innocence, sexuality, beauty, bright inner light and many more facets of personality at the same time. All of these and many other qualities are combined in the heroine of our story, who can be seductive and childishly funny in an instant. Is it true or not? At least that’s the impression you get from looking at her photos. The fact that her career intersected with Disney may also be a confirmation of this. Read more on houston-trend.

Birth and first steps

At the end of the twentieth century, on September 28, 1987, a girl named Hilary was born in the center of Houston. She is of German and American origin.

The girl’s father Robert had his own chain of stores. Her mother Susan devoted herself to creativity in music and cinema.

The second part of the actress’s name was inherited from her paternal great-grandmother, Mary Erhart.

On her creative path, Hilary could always watch her older sister Haylie, who also chose this thorny path to fame. The girls must have inherited their mother’s genes and felt in their gut that this industry was to their liking.

Some say the younger sister sometimes wears out the clothes for the older sister in childhood. But whether this theory has spread to movie roles and other aspects remains an open question.

Hilary and her sister spent their childhood years in their home in Houston. Thanks to her mother and her creative nature, at the age of six, little Hilary, in the company of her eight-year-old sister, first tasted the stage by performing in the Nutcracker ballet in San Antonio. But soon the girl, her mother and sister moved to California in search of new horizons in show business, leaving her father in Houston.

New horizons

In the following years, the two sisters, under their mother’s strict control and guidance, did everything they could to find a place in the sun. Filming commercials, numerous auditions, modeling for global brands, and of course, acting classes in California paid dividends.

Already in 1998, at the very young age of 11, Hilary rapidly burst into the world of show business, if you can call it that.

Young Hilary’s first roles were more like a process of groping around in this field, finding herself and waiting for a lucky day, as is often the case in the world of cinema. This is exactly what happened. Nevertheless, at the start of her career, the girl received her first blow to her ambitions. This did not break her in the end.

The 2000 medical television series Chicago Hope, in which the young actress played a sick child, almost dashed all of Hilary’s hopes for the future. With the help of her mother and sister, the girl withstood the blow of fate. This role was immediately followed by another one on NBC. Despite the positive and favorable feedback from the creators about her work, Hilary was removed from the cast of the series before it was released on TV. Having recovered from this event, a year later, fate gave the actress a lucky ticket.

It was in 2001 that the girl got a chance to play perhaps her most famous role, Lizzie McGuire, her debut one, on the famous Disney Channel.

Later on, her life path became full of colors and her acting career became almost exemplary, of course, not without stumbling blocks, but not as many as it could have been.

In the future, Hilary proved herself not only in movies, but also in music. She recorded more than ten albums. Like any Hollywood actress, she also found herself in voice acting for cartoons and movies. In addition, she showed her versatility in design and writing. She also became a producer and an animal advocate. This is not the whole range of activities of the young lady.

Particularly memorable for critics and fans were the roles of Kelsey Peters in the TV series Younger and Samantha in A Cinderella Story. In general, at the time of her 20s, her creative work in the field of cinema reaches the mark of twenty films. This is far from the limit, because her whole life and future victories are still ahead. There is still something to compete for. Besides, no one has canceled the Oscars, Grammys and Golden Globes, so it seems that everything is just beginning.
